O’HARE FORECAST …
Diminishing showers and thunderstorms in northwest Illinois were approaching Rockford about 8:20 AM Friday morning, and were expected to diminish. Showers that were initially expected about 7:00 p.m. Friday are now forecast to arrive near O'Hare around 11:00 a.m. and last until 7:00 p.m. High temperatures in the forecast have trended downward every day to the 60s, and now Monday is the only day in the forecast with a high in the 70s.
Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly between 11am and 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 48. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the evening.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming east southeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 10 mph.
